The Wolfbox X3 is a handy touchscreen dashcam with 60fps recording for crystal clear and smooth images. The Sony Starvis 2 sensor films sharp videos and the X3 is extremely user-friendly thanks to its touchscreen LCD and voice control.
The unique feature of this Wolfbox X3 is its 60fps recording with 2K resolution. These 60 frames per second ensure very smooth and clear images. The Wolfbox X3 dashcam also comes with a Full HD rear camera. This rear camera is mounted on the rear window of the car and records in Full HD resolution at 30fps.
The rear camera is connected to the front dashcam with a long cable (6 metres). No additional power supply is required for the camera. The images from both cameras are stored separately on the SD card. A 10-metre extension cable is available as an option.
Perhaps the best feature of this Wolfbox X3 is the large and clear 3.0-inch touchscreen LCD. The screen displays live images and allows you to change settings. You can also easily review recorded videos.
This Wolfbox X3 can support the driver by issuing warnings in dangerous situations. A warning is issued in the following situations, if desired:
FCWS: Forward Collision Warning System. This system issues a warning when a vehicle ahead is approached at high speed. For example, the system alerts the driver when there is a traffic jam in front of the car. With a good GPS signal, the current speed is known and the camera can make a good assessment of the situation around the car.
LDWS: Lane Departure Warning System. The camera can give a signal when the car is in danger of changing lanes on the motorway.
PCW: Pedestrian collision warning. Gives a warning when a pedestrian is too close to the car.
The Wolfbox X3 3CH is equipped with super-fast 5.8GHz Wifi, which allows videos to be downloaded more quickly. The Wifi has a range of about 10 metres and the Wolfbox App is available for Android and iPhone phones. You can also easily change settings via the App.
The Wolfbox X3 can be operated by means of (English) voice control. The following actions, among others, are supported:
- Lock the video: Securely save video
- Take photo: Take photo
- Turn on/off Wi-Fi: Turn Wi-Fi on or off
- Turn on/off screen: Turn screen on or off
The Wolfbox X3 3CH has a handy automatic Time Lapse and vibration parking mode to secure the car while parked. In Time Lapse mode, the camera takes a photo every second, which is later played back as a 30fps video. Time lapse recordings are slightly less detailed and therefore take up less data on the SD card.
The vibration parking mode ensures that in the event of a collision or other vibration, a normal video is recorded. These incidents are therefore recorded in detail.
Please note: To use the parking mode, connection to the Wolfbox hardwire kit is required. The parking mode cannot be switched on or off manually.
The Wolfbox X3 has a built-in GPS module. This GPS module allows the speed to be displayed on screen and also tracks the coordinates of the locations where the footage was filmed. This allows you to use the included software to see exactly where certain recordings were made.
This X3 3CH comes with a 64GB Micro SD card, good for approximately 8 hours of 2K + Full HD recordings. It supports Micro SD cards up to 512GB, which can store approximately 64 hours of footage.
The body of the X3 3CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam can be rotated 150 degrees vertically, so it can always be aimed correctly at the road.
The X3 3CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam comes with a handy separate 3M holder that attaches to the windscreen with the 3M double-sided sticker. The camera can be removed from the holder and replaced with a single sliding motion. This makes it easy to remove the dashcam from the car.
This X3 3CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam has a wide-angle lens of 170 degrees at the front and 150˚ at the rear.
Place the optional CPL filter on the Wolfbox X3 to prevent harmful and annoying reflections in the image. The filter prevents reflections from the sun and the dashboard, making the videos even sharper.
The X3 3CH 4K WiFi GPS dashcam automatically starts recording when the car is started and stops recording when the car is turned off. So you don't have to worry about it when it's in the car.
The built-in G-sensor detects when you have had an accident. In the event of an impact, images are automatically saved securely so that they are not lost. They can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The X3 3CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can also be turned off if desired.
The current time and date are always displayed on the screen so that you can later show when the recordings were made.
This Wolfbox dashcam comes with a handy USB cigarette plug. The plug has an extra USB port so that you can still use the cigarette power supply for other devices.
