The Wolfbox OBD hardwire kit is a handy accessory that allows you to connect your Wolfbox dashcam directly to the car’s OBD port. This ensures the dashcam is continuously powered, enabling monitoring in parking mode without the need for a complicated installation.
Suitable for virtually all Wolfbox dashcams
This universal OBD power supply is suitable for virtually all Wolfbox models (such as the G840S, G850, G840H, G930, X5, i05, i07 etc.). Please note: this power supply is not suitable for the more powerful G900 series (G900 / G900 Tripro).
Stable output
The 3.5-metre-long OBD cable connects to the dashcam via USB-C and delivers a stable output of 5V/3.0A. The power supply supports an input voltage of 12V to 24V and is therefore suitable for virtually all vehicles.
Easy installation
This power supply does not require the use of the car’s cigarette lighter socket. Thanks to the direct connection to the OBD port, the cable can be neatly concealed for a clean installation.
24-hour parking surveillance
As the OBD cable continuously supplies power via the OBD port, the Wolfbox dashcam remains active even when the car’s engine is switched off. This ensures that parking mode is always active for optimum vehicle security.
Low-voltage protection
Thanks to the built-in low-voltage protection, the power is automatically cut off when the battery voltage drops below 11.6V (±0.2V). This means you don’t have to worry about ending up with a flat battery.
