The Nextbase 522GW is one of the most complete dashcams in Nextbase's mid-range segment. The Nextbase 522GW records all your journeys in clear 2K resolution. This ensures that number plates, vehicles and important details remain clearly recognisable. The improved Night Vision technology ensures that the camera also performs exceptionally well in the dark or in poorly lit situations. For faster traffic situations or smoother images, you can also opt for Full HD 1080p at 60fps.
The clear 3-inch touchscreen makes operation quick and intuitive. You can easily review images and change settings without complicated menus.
With built-in wifi, you can download images directly to your smartphone and quickly change the dashcam settings. Bluetooth ensures a fast connection and first shows a smaller preview version of your video in the app, so you can immediately see what has been recorded. Only when downloading is the full 2K quality transferred, which saves a lot of time.
The 522GW accurately records your speed and location. This information can be viewed later via the app and can be displayed in your video footage if desired.
With built-in voice control, you can operate the dashcam without taking your hands off the wheel. You can give commands such as saving a video or taking a photo, so you can always drive safely.
Nextbase Cloud allows you to easily manage your video files online. This allows you to securely store and share recordings and review them whenever you need to.
In combination with an optional 3-wire or OBD hardwire kit, the 522GW monitors your car while parked. The camera activates automatically in the event of vibrations or impact, so you always have evidence when something happens.
You can easily expand the 522GW with various rear and interior cameras.
• Telephoto or interior camera: click directly into the side of the 522GW.
• Rear window camera is placed on the rear window and connected to the front dashcam with a long cable.
This allows you to cover multiple directions and makes the system even more complete.
Do you use the dashcam in multiple vehicles? An additional Click&Go Pro holder with power supply is available as an option (see accessories). This allows you to switch the dashcam between cars in one simple movement.
Thanks to loop recording, older images are automatically overwritten when the card is full. Recordings protected by the G-sensor are always stored in a separate folder.
With a viewing angle of 140 degrees, a large part of the road is captured without distortion. The Nextbase 522GW supports Micro SD cards up to 256GB, which is good for about 8 to 10 hours of 2K videos. A memory card is not included as standard.
