With the Nextbase 5-metre hardwire kit for the Series 2 dashcams, you can connect your Nextbase dashcam directly to the car's fuse box to reliably use the parking mode on your camera.
Connect the power supply to a fuse that provides permanent power and your Nextbase dashcam will automatically switch to parking mode after 5 minutes of inactivity. You can also connect the power supply to a switched fuse, in which case the dashcam will turn on and off with the car's ignition.
The power supply has a safety feature that cuts off the power when the battery voltage becomes too low. So you don't have to worry about ending up with a flat battery.
