BlackVue Elite 8 2CH 2K Cloud Wifi GPS 64GB

The BlackVue Elite 8 2CH is a high-end dual-channel dashcam. This model is designed for drivers who seek maximum safety, reliability and ease of use in a sleek and discreet design. The Elite 8 2CH films simultaneously with a front and rear camera and is equipped with the latest technologies in image quality, storage and connectivity.

2K QHD + FullHD 30fps videos

The BlackVue Elite 8 2CH films with a sharp 2K QHD resolution (2560×1440) at the front and FullHD (1920×1080) at the rear. Thanks to the advanced Sony STARVIS 2 image sensors, both cameras deliver high-contrast and clear images, both during the day and at night. Number plates, traffic situations and details around the vehicle remain clearly visible, even in low light conditions.

HDR also ensures that the images are dynamic and realistic. The brightness and contrast are automatically adjusted to the conditions so that the image quality remains optimal.

Smart and discreet design

As we have come to expect from BlackVue, the Elite 8 2CH also has a cylindrical and minimalist design. This means that both the front and rear cameras are barely noticeable in the car and do not obstruct the driver's view. The front camera can be rotated vertically so that it can always be perfectly aimed at the road.

An additional holder for the front camera is available for use in multiple cars (see accessories).

Wifi & Blackvue App

The Blackvue Elite 8 2CH has built-in Wifi. With the free Blackvue App for iOS and Android, you can easily view live images from both cameras, download videos and adjust settings without removing the Micro SD card from the camera.

BlackVue Cloud

In combination with the BlackVue CM100GLTE Cloud module, you can connect to your dashcam anywhere in the world. Connect the CM100GLTE module to the dashcam and insert a SIM card with an internet connection into the module. BlackVue Cloud offers the following features, among others:

- View and store videos in the Cloud
- Receive parking notifications
- Live GPS tracking
- Remote firmware updates
- Live communication and calling

BlackVue Cloud can be used for free with limited functionality. For more intensive use or fleet solutions, subscriptions are available from £3.99 per month.

Built-in GPS

Thanks to the built-in GPS receiver, speed and location are automatically added to the videos. With the Blackvue Viewer software, you can later see exactly where and when a recording was made. The speed display can be disabled if desired.

Advanced and economical parking mode

The Blackvue Elite 8 2CH features an intelligent parking mode to secure your car when it is parked. You can choose between motion detection or Time Lapse parking mode. In motion detection mode, the cameras remain on standby until movement is detected around the car. In Time Lapse mode, the cameras continuously record at 1fps, which is later played back as an accelerated video. In both modes, the dashcam automatically switches to normal recording as soon as an impact is detected.

In addition, BlackVue's Elite dashcams feature a “Deep Park” mode, in which the dashcam remains in an extremely energy-efficient state and only activates in the event of an impact. This is ideal when the vehicle is parked for long periods of time.

Please note: To use parking mode, the BlackVue CH-3P1 or BOC-300 OBD2 hardwire kit is required (see accessories).

Automatic low voltage cut-off

When using a hardwire kit, the Elite 8 2CH is protected against a flat car battery. The built-in low voltage cut-off system automatically switches off the dashcam when the battery voltage falls below a safe, adjustable value. This allows you to use the parking mode for long periods without the risk of starting problems.

Supports up to 1TB

The Elite 8 1CH comes standard with a 64GB Micro SD card, good for approximately 4 to 6 hours of QHD videos. It supports Micro SD cards up to 1TB, allowing you to store about 100 hours of videos at a time.

G-sensor

The built-in G-sensor automatically detects collisions and hard shocks. In the event of an impact, the relevant images from both cameras are immediately stored securely so that they cannot be overwritten or deleted.

In the event of an impact, a one-minute video is saved, including 10 seconds before the incident. When parking and using BlackVue Cloud, you will also receive a notification on your phone.

Built-in microphone

The Elite 8 2CH has an internal microphone that also records sound in the car. The microphone can be easily disabled via the app or software if desired.

USB power

The BlackVue Elite 8 comes standard with a 4.5-metre USB power cable with a separate cigarette lighter plug. To use parking mode, the BlackVue CH-3P1 or BOC-300 OBD2 hardwire kit is required (see accessories).

CPL-2 polarisation filter (optional)

The optional BlackVue CPL-2 filter (see accessories) reduces annoying reflections and glare from the dashboard or windscreen. This provides better contrast and clearer images, especially in sunny conditions.

Tamper-proof case (optional)

A tamper-proof case is available for extra security. This prevents unwanted removal of the dashcam and protects the SD card from unauthorised access. Ideal for business use, lease cars and fleets.

Bluetooth button (optional)

An optional Bluetooth button is available especially for the Elite series. This button allows you to manually secure a recording without touching the dashcam. Ideal in stressful situations or while driving.

Date and time registration

All recordings are automatically stamped with the date and time, so it is always clear when an event took place.
