BlackVue Elite 8 1CH 2K Cloud Wifi GPS 64GB

The BlackVue Elite 8 1CH is a high-end single 1CH dashcam. This model is designed for drivers who want maximum image quality, reliability and ease of use in a sleek and discreet design. The Elite 8 1CH films in razor-sharp 4K resolution and is equipped with the latest technologies in safety, storage and connectivity.

2K QHD 30fps videos

The BlackVue Elite 8 1CH films with QuadHD 2K resolution at the front. Thanks to the advanced Sony STARVIS 2 image sensor, the dashcam delivers extremely sharp and high-contrast images, both during the day and at night. Number plates, traffic signs and details in the environment remain clearly legible, even in low light conditions.

HDR also ensures that the images are dynamic and realistic. The brightness and contrast are automatically adjusted to the conditions so that the images are always of the highest quality.

Smart and discreet design

As we have come to expect from BlackVue, the Elite 8 1CH also has a cylindrical and minimalist design. This means that the dashcam is barely noticeable behind the windscreen and does not obstruct the driver's view. The camera can be rotated vertically so that it can always be perfectly aimed at the road. An additional mount is available for use in multiple cars (see accessories).

Wifi & Blackvue App

The Blackvue Elite 8 1CH has built-in Wifi. Using the free Blackvue App for iOS and Android, you can easily view live images, download videos and adjust settings without removing the Micro SD card from the camera.

BlackVue Cloud

In combination with the BlackVue CM100GLTE Cloud module, you can connect to your dashcam anywhere in the world. Connect the CM100GLTW module to the dashcam and insert a SIM card with an internet connection into the module. BlackVue Cloud offers the following features:

- View and store videos in the Cloud
- Parking notifications
- GPS tracking
- Firmware updates
- Live communication and calling

BlackVue Cloud can be used for free with limited functionality. Subscriptions are available for £3.99, £7.99 and £15.99 for more intensive use or for fleet solutions.

Built-in GPS

Thanks to the built-in GPS receiver, speed and location are automatically added to the videos. With the Blackvue Viewer software, you can later see exactly where and when a recording was made. If desired, the speed can also be disabled from the image.

Advanced and economical parking mode

The Blackvue Elite 8 1CH features an intelligent parking mode to secure your car when it is parked. You can choose between motion detection or time-lapse parking mode. In motion detection mode, the camera remains on standby until movement is detected around the car. In time lapse mode, the dashcam continuously records a 1fps video that is processed into a fast-forward video.

In both modes, the dashcam automatically switches to normal recording as soon as an impact is detected.

BlackVue's Elite dashcams also feature a “Deep park” mode, which switches the dashcam to an extremely economical parking mode and only activates in the event of an impact. This can be useful if your car is parked for a long period of time.

Please note:

The BlackVue CH-3P1 or BOC-300 OBD2 hardwire kit is required to use parking mode (see accessories).

Automatic low voltage cut-off

When using a hardwire kit, the Elite 8 1CH is protected against a flat battery. The built-in low voltage cut-off system automatically switches off the dashcam when the battery voltage falls below a safe, adjustable value. This allows you to use the parking mode for long periods without the risk of starting problems.

Supports up to 1TB

The Elite 8 1CH comes standard with a 64GB Micro SD card, good for approximately 4 to 6 hours of QHD videos. It supports Micro SD cards up to 1TB, allowing you to store about 100 hours of videos at a time.

G-sensor

The built-in G-sensor automatically detects collisions and hard shocks. In the event of an impact, the relevant images are immediately stored securely so that they cannot be overwritten or deleted. While parking and using the Cloud, a notification is also sent to your phone that an impact has occurred.

In the event of an impact, a one-minute video is saved, including 10 seconds before the incident. This ensures that the most important images are always saved.

Built-in microphone

The Elite 8 1CH has an internal microphone that also records sound in the car. The microphone can be easily disabled via the app or software if desired.

USB power supply

The BlackVue Elite 8 comes standard with a 4.5-metre USB power supply with a separate cigarette lighter plug. To use parking mode, the BlackVue CH-3P1 or BOC-300 OBD2 hardwire kit is required (see accessories).

CPL-2 polarisation filter (optional)

The optional BlackVue CPL-2 filter (see accessories) greatly reduces annoying reflections and glare from the dashboard or windscreen. This provides more contrast and clearer images, especially in bright sunlight.

Tamper-proof case (optional)

A tamper-proof case is available for extra security. This protects the dashcam from unwanted removal and prevents the SD card from being taken out. Ideal for business use, lease cars and fleets.

Bluetooth button (optional)

An optional Bluetooth button is available especially for the Elite series. This button allows you to manually secure a recording without touching the dashcam. Ideal in stressful situations or while driving.

Date and time registration

All recordings are automatically stamped with the date and time, so that it is always possible to prove when an event took place.
