The AZDome M360 is a beautiful compact 4K + 2.5K resolution dashcam with a large 3.6-inch widescreen LCD. This dashcam records everything in the sharpest resolution so you never have to miss a thing in traffic. You can easily connect to your phone via wifi, and GPS tracks your location and speed.
The M360 2CH 4K 64GB is equipped with the latest 5.0MP image sensor, which guarantees the sharpest Ultra 4K videos. It films with a resolution of 3840p*2160p at 25fps. HDR technology guarantees perfect image quality in all weather conditions. The dashcam can also take photos in 18M pixels.
The included rear camera is equipped with a FullHD (1080p) image sensor so that everything happening behind the car is also captured in the best quality. Number plates and people are therefore always recognisable in the image, even in the dark.
Another unique feature of this M360 2CH 4K 64GB is the bright and large 3.6-inch widescreen LCD. The screen displays what the camera is recording, and with one press of a button, you can access the menu or take a photo. You can also start and stop recording or turn the microphone on or off. The menu interface is very user-friendly, making changing settings a breeze.
This M360 2CH 4K 64GB comes standard with a 2.5K rear camera for recording behind the car. The rear camera is connected to the front camera via a 6-metre cable (10-metre extension cable available separately, see accessories). The cameras record simultaneously and the images are stored separately on the SD card. The image from the rear camera is displayed on the LCD screen via PiP (Picture in Picture) and the rear camera can also be displayed in full screen mode at the touch of a button.
The AZDome M360 is equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS) with various options:
- FCWS: Forward Collision Warning System that warns when a vehicle in front is approached at high speed.
- LDWS: Lane Departure Warning System that warns when you change lanes without noticing.
- PDWS: Pedestrian Collision Warning System that warns when there are pedestrians in the vicinity.
- FVSW: Front Vehicle Start Warning, which warns when the vehicle in front has started moving from a standstill.
The warnings are given in the form of an audible signal. Both systems can be switched on and off separately. Please note that the use of ADAS on European roads does not always produce accurate and reliable results due to the large differences in infrastructure.
The dashcam can be operated by means of (English) voice control. The following actions, among others, are supported:
- Lock the video: Securely save video
- Take photo: Take photo
- Turn on/off Wifi: Turn Wifi on or off
- Turn on/off screen: Turn screen on or off
The M360 2CH 4K 64GB is equipped with fast 5GHz wifi. This allows all images to be viewed quickly and easily via your smartphone. The wifi has a range of approximately 10 metres. The AZDome App is available for iOS (Apple) and Android phones and tablets. The app allows you to view and download images so that you no longer need to remove the SD card from the camera.
The M360 2CH 4K 64GB has a built-in GPS module. This GPS module allows the speed to be displayed on screen and also tracks the coordinates of the locations where the footage was filmed. This allows you to use the included software to see exactly where certain recordings were made.
To improve image quality and reduce reflections in the image, you can expand the dashcam with the optional universal CPL filter (see accessories). This filter acts as a kind of Polaroid sunglasses for the lens and can be useful in sunny conditions.
The M360 2CH 4K 64GB dashboard camera has a handy automatic parking mode. The parking mode has two options:
Time lapse: The camera films continuously with time lapse in 720p 1fps, also with the rear camera if fitted.
Vibration: The camera records a 1-minute video when a vibration is detected.
* The automatic parking mode of the M360 2CH 4K 64GB only works in combination with the optionally available AZDome JYX05 or OBD USB-C hardwire kit and cannot be switched on and off manually. In combination with the hardwire kit, the camera automatically enters parking mode when the car's ignition is turned off and starts normal recording when you start the car again. This makes the M360 2CH 4K 64GB ideal for use as car security.
The M360 2CH 4K 64GB is equipped with loop recording. This means that the camera continues to film even when the SD card is full. The oldest clips on the SD card are then deleted and automatically overwritten with new images. The length of the clips can be set to 3, 5 or 10 minutes. Loop recording can also be turned off, in which case the camera will make one long recording. Please note that the camera will stop filming when the SD card is full.
The AZDome M360 2CH 4K comes standard with a 64GB Micro SD card so you can start recording right away. The AZDome M360 also supports larger Micro SD cards up to 256GB. The included 64GB card can store about 10 hours of 2CH videos in 4K.
Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, the camera is capable of generating sharp images in both very high and very low light conditions. This allows the camera to capture razor-sharp images both during the day in bright light and at night in low light.
This M360 2CH 4K 64GB has a 150˚ wide-angle lens at the front and 130˚ at the rear. This allows it to capture a very large area around the car.
The AZDome M360 2CH 4K 64GB dashcam automatically starts recording when the car is started. So you don't have to worry about it when it's in the car. The only requirement is that it is connected to the car's power supply via the cigarette lighter socket. If you use the optional hardwire kit, the camera will automatically switch to and from parking mode.
The built-in G-sensor allows the dashcam to detect when you have had an accident. In the event of an impact, images are automatically saved so that they are not lost. They cannot be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.
The AZDome M360 2CH 4K 64GB has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can be easily switched on and off with a single tap on the screen.
The date, time and licence plate can be displayed at the bottom of each video so that it can be shown later when and with which vehicle certain recordings were made. This can be of decisive importance when assessing situations and determining liability for the police and/or insurance companies.
