    De AZDome GS63H is al jaren één van de meest populaire AZDome modellen.     4K resolutie

    Suction cup and self-adhesive holder

    The AZDome GS63H comes with both a self-adhesive and suction cup mount, making it super easy to install. With the suction cup mount, you can easily remove the camera from the windscreen. The self-adhesive mount is slightly more secure but is permanently attached to the windscreen.

    Optional Full HD rear camera

    You can connect AZDome's Full HD rear camera to the GS63H to also film behind the car. The rear camera is connected to the front camera with a long cable and the images are stored simultaneously on the SD card.

    Wifi compatibility

    Because the AZDome GS63H is equipped with wifi, all images can be easily viewed via your smartphone. The Wifi has a range of about 10 metres. The AZDome App is available for iOS (Apple) and Android phones and tablets. The app allows you to view and download the images so that the SD card no longer needs to be removed from the camera.

    256GB support

    The AZDome GS63H supports MicroSD cards up to 256 GB, allowing you to film for around 24 hours in Full HD.

    HDR

    Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, the camera is able to generate sharp images in both very high and very low light conditions. This allows the camera to capture razor-sharp images both during the day in bright light and at night in low light.

    2.4-inch LCD screen

    The large 2.4-inch LCD screen on the GS63H makes setting the functions a breeze. The screen also shows exactly what is being filmed, so you can adjust the dashcam.

    150˚ wide-view lens

    The GS63H has a 150-degree wide-angle lens. This allows it to capture a very large area, not only in front of the car but also in the surrounding area.

    Loop recording

    The GS63H is equipped with loop recording. This means that the camera continues to film when the SD card is full. The oldest fragments on the SD card are then deleted and automatically overwritten with new images. The length of the fragments can be set to 3, 5 or 10 minutes.

    The loop recording can also be turned off, in which case the camera makes one long recording. Please note that the camera will stop filming when the SD card is full.

    Built-in GPS

    The AZDome GS63H has a built-in GPS module. This GPS module allows the speed to be displayed on the screen and also keeps track of the coordinates of the locations where the footage was filmed. This allows you to use the included software to see exactly where certain recordings were made.

    Auto start

    The AZDome GS63H starts filming automatically when the car is started. So you don't have to worry about it when it's in the car. The only requirement is that it is connected to the car's power supply.

    G-sensor

    The built-in G-sensor detects when you have had an accident. In the event of an impact, images are automatically saved so that they are not lost. They cannot be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.

    Parking mode

    The GS63H has a handy parking mode function to secure your car when it is parked. In parking mode, the dashcam takes a photo every second using Time Lapse, which is played back as a fast-forward video. If there is any vibration, a regular recording is made so that you have a clear picture of the most important moments.

    Please note: The automatic parking mode of the AZDome GS63H only works in combination with the optionally available AZDome JYX05 or OBD hardwire kit and cannot be switched on and off manually.

    16MP photos

    In addition to filming, the AZDome also has the option of taking photos in 16 megapixels. This is useful for recording damage after an accident, for example.

    Built-in microphone

    The AZDome GS63H has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can also be turned off if desired.

    Date and time recording

    The current time and date are always displayed on the screen so that you can later see when the recordings were made.

    • Fortunately, there is a Dutch online PDF manual, because the supplied manual (in English) is printed very small. But the menu on the device is simple and clear. It is difficult to find a place in my car, a Citroen C4 Spacetourer, but that is due to the car with its gigantic windscreen and the cigarette lighter socket at the back of the centre console. It also works via one of the car's USB ports, but those are hidden away in a compartment. All in all, the 3.3-metre long cable is too short. So I placed it at the bottom of the windscreen. Fortunately, there is also a generous wide viewing area there. The image quality is more than sufficient. After setting the time zone, the time itself does not need to be set. Just connect to the GPS satellites and the correct time appears automatically. That brings me to the only downside for me. The GPS reception is more often absent than present. That may be due to the placement of the dashcam. The shaded area at the top of the windscreen that indicates where radiation passes is so far away from the camera. Although a separate navigation device right next to the camera has no problems with GPS reception. The downloadable software works flawlessly. I run LuckyCam and the AZdome app on Android, where LuckyCam is very practical for configuring the camera. On the PC under Windows runs AZDomePlayer, which also uses the GPS to follow the route on the integrated Google map. You can download this Windows app from the AZDome website. The camera's own screen is of course handy for properly aiming the camera and possibly viewing the recordings. However, the latter is better done by removing the SD card and viewing the images on a PC. The viewing angle of the screen is disappointing. Especially from the left side, the image is poor. A pity, because the driver sits on that side of the camera. I have set the screensaver to show the time (and speed) while driving. The motion sensitivity in surveillance mode is adjustable and the middle setting is a good choice. But I do not use constant power supply, so that is not relevant for me. All in all, I am satisfied with this dashcam except for the sensitivity of the GPS. If that improves with a next firmware update, the last star will certainly be added.

I indeed received this the next day without any fuss about paying the price difference. Now that's what I call top service! The camera itself works excellently. Beautiful sharp images, number plates and road signs are generally easy to read and the footage is quite smooth, especially at 60 fps. The images in the dark are somewhat less good but still quite reasonable. The included user manual in English (and 5 other languages) is not very extensive but if you read it carefully and try everything on the camera, the operation becomes clear. All functions work well; loop recording, continuous recording, timelapse, motion detection. The parking surveillance mode works, but the car must move quite a bit before the camera reacts. The AZDome player program that you can download from the site is a nice way to watch the videos back. The app sometimes has some trouble establishing the wifi connection but eventually works. For the recording settings it is actually just as easy to do this via the menu on the camera itself. Also here: study it well and everything becomes very clear and logical. The GPS takes some time to pick up the signal, often this takes about five minutes. The suction cup mount works fine and the camera sits firmly and vibration-free in my car. All in all an excellent camera for this price that I am very satisfied with. The manual for the camera and the software (PC and app) could be a bit clearer and more extensive.

    • After 9 months I have been using the M06 (as this dashcam is now called) in both the truck and the car, and this week I was able to see the great advantage of a dashcam. Falling cargo from a truck damaged my car and everything is neatly on video, including the sound of the impact... Viewing the number plate of the oncoming vehicle was difficult due to motion blur (read: blurry on video). Perhaps the combined speed of about 180 km/h was just a bit too much for the camera (at the highest resolution of 2880). Normally the image quality during the day is very good and at night quite acceptable. A second unit is now on its way for my wife's car, which says enough about my satisfaction. You do need to take some time to install and set up, but then you do get something good. Transferring the recorded videos in the Android app is quite slow with the WIFI connection but the SD card directly in a laptop works fine.

    • The first device I bought from Allcam via Bol.com had the problem that the SD card was almost impossible to remove from the device. I returned it the same day. I then ordered this device directly from Allcam. Unfortunately... 1. Before ordering this dashcam, I contacted them to ask if a Sandisk Ultra 32GB was suitable. I was told it was no problem. It works fine. Later, in the user manual, I read that a Sandisk Ultra is not suitable at all. That the warranty even voids if you use it. So I contacted Allcam customer service to ask what the situation was; no response! 2. I have now started using my dashcam. It turns out the set time jumps by 6 hours after a few minutes. 2pm suddenly becomes 8pm or 9am becomes 3pm or...     • The dashcam was delivered without problems one day after my order by post. The Samsung EVO Plus 128GB MicroSDXC ordered together was neatly packed in the box. The device supplied by Allcam is the original AZDome GS63H in the blue/white box. Apparently, other devices without a Dutch menu are also circulating elsewhere, usually delivered in grey/yellow boxes. At the bottom of the order confirmation I received by email beforehand were already the download links for the Dutch user manual and the Viewer software ('Car DV player') for PC/Mac. Allcam has thoughtfully considered the customer. After trying some other programs, the program 'Dashcamviewer' proves to be more pleasant as viewer software due to its wider possibilities and the clearly better integration with Google Maps. The camera is recognised by the PC in Explorer as a Novatek camera. Recordings are sorted by date and time. After unpacking, I inserted the memory card and formatted it immediately. Without formatting, a 128 GB card does not work on this device. Then I started using the device's menu. The dashcam has, among other things, a Dutch menu. The downloadable Dutch user manual does not, however, sync with the Dutch menu on the device. However, it is quite easy to figure out on the device itself. The functions 'WDR' and 'Time Lapse Recording' are not in the user manual although the device has them. I also immediately connected the device via WIFI to my mobile. For this purpose, I downloaded the program 'LuckyCam'. Recordings can be started and stopped via the phone. Also, a wide range of dashcam settings can be easily changed from the phone. The supplied 3.3-metre-long cable was sufficient to connect the cigarette lighter socket to the dashcam and to neatly route the cable behind the panels. The cable clips were helpful in some strategic places. The supplied plug for the cigarette lighter has a double USB connection (nice for e.g. a separate navigation system) and grips quite firmly. Works fine like this. Another option is to take the power supply directly from the battery. For that purpose, an extra set of cables can be ordered. The suction cup is quick to attach and immediately holds firmly. The disadvantage is that the dashcam itself is quite stiff to attach to the suction cup, so stiff that it almost feels like a permanent connection with the holder. Perhaps this is not the case with every device of this type but if you, like me, make several short trips daily and take the dashcam out of the car each time, this kind of fiddling quickly becomes annoying. After starting the car, the dashcam switched on automatically and immediately started recording. The GPS signal took a moment to appear but after about one and a half minutes it had it. The subsequent times it found the signal a little faster. The camera offers a choice of different image resolutions and frame rates. For example, 4K (2880p*2160p) at 24 frames/sec, HD with a choice of 30 or 60 frames/sec or even up to 120 frames/sec at 720p. And yes, it is true, according to the specs it is not officially a 4K dashcam but at least a very good image quality. The first trip the dashcam was set to 1080p with 60fps. That delivered clear, sharp and smooth images in cloudy conditions. The next day set to 2880p with 24fps. That also delivered very good images. The lower frame rate caused hardly noticeable differences in the image. Only at the extreme left and right of the image did I notice slightly less smooth images compared to HD with 60 fps. Driving in a low-hanging blinding morning sun directly ahead certainly affected the recording. Still easy to follow but clear loss of detail in areas such as number plates due to glare, reflections and deep shadows. Logical too, against such a bright sun directly in the lens the 'WDR' function (which corrects many very light and dark areas) offers no remedy. However, outside of such sporadic moments the dashcam offers a nice image quality, both in cloudy, sunny and twilight conditions. Also at night the image quality is quite reasonable to good. More detail and quality than expected in urban conditions. Furthermore, the camera has a very wide viewing angle. Both left and right of the road much is still clearly visible in the image. Conclusion: Good dashcam with very nice image quality, extensive possibilities and with a particularly sharp price/quality ratio.

    • So far I have (mis)used a GoPro Hero 3 as a dashcam, it doesn't have the capabilities of the GS63H. The GoPro has to be operated manually each time, and memory cleared when full. Too cumbersome compared to the GS63H.     • Bought this dashcam because I wasn’t happy with the Mini 0806 myself. After having had a new one under warranty twice and the latest one also not being 100%, constantly cutting out and too often not recognising the SD cards. This one has been in the car for a day combined with the rear camera. So far I like it, although it has already crashed once. The rear camera is really an asset. I also connected it to the reversing lights, which was possible, and so the rear cam becomes a rearview camera with distance lines fully displayed on the dashcam. Great invention. The little mount on the window could have been a bit sturdier with more adjustment options and especially tightening points. The dashcam can, after everything is tightened properly, still be turned quite easily from left to right and the vertical adjustment could have been stepless for me. Downloading the videos to your phone also works perfectly. Here in the reviews I had read that the wifi password couldn’t be changed, but it actually can be, and you do that via the app on your phone in the dashcam settings. Live streaming to the phone while the dashcam is recording doesn’t really work well but well, when do you use that? All in all, I’m very satisfied with the dashcam so far and hope I get more enjoyment out of it than the Mini 0806.

    • After my previous cam almost caught fire, I bought this one. Nice, small and compact, fits perfectly behind the mirror, I was able to neatly hide the cable. Then the first use. It is a bit tricky at first because it starts recording immediately when you press the power button. And then you cannot access the menu, luckily there is the user manual. The images are nice and sharp, the number plates of passing cars are clearly readable. To set the time, wait until you have GPS connection and then set it. Keep in mind that the region settings (GMT+2 = daylight saving time) must be correct, but it remains tricky to get right. After driving, I kept making small adjustments in the menus such as brightness and that the screen goes dark after e.g. 3 minutes. So far the set time does not stay! I have contacted Allcam about this, it should be fine. Great company by the way; I got a rear cam as a gift because the front cam was sold out. Setting your own number plate was tricky, also because at first I didn’t understand what it was about and the letters and numbers were hard to see on the blue background.     • First of all: this is not a 4k dashcam. The camera records at 2880x2160 which is apparently upscaled to 4k. I skip this mode and record by default in Full HD 1080p (1920x1080) at 60 fps. That gives a very good picture. Sound inside the car is also recorded well and can be turned on or off with one press of a button if needed. Occasionally the codec struggles with the image and you get a lot of artefacts, but even at this lowest bitrate the footage is very good. Also at dusk or in the dark, in a parking garage or in a tunnel. GPS location and speed can be displayed on screen during recording. In terms of features this dashcam is very extensive, especially in this price range. There is a parking mode, an option to record only when motion is detected, and on a shock or a press of the middle button the footage is saved in a separate folder on the SD card. You can view the footage and control the dashcam via wifi. The controls on the dashcam itself take some getting used to at first and are not always very logical. Also there should be 2 USB cables in the box, but there is only 1, albeit a very long one, and also some clips to tidy the cable away. And a charger with 2 USB ports is used so you can charge something else while the dashcam is connected.

    • It's a nice dashcam but quality is still unknown. I haven't tried it yet as I don't understand anything about the installation... usage... wifi etc. Also the cam keeps giving a message that my SD card needs to be inserted even though it is already in. The instruction booklet also gives little indication on how to use it. Additionally, a USB cable is missing which apparently is needed.

    • Trying out the settings was a bit of a thing. But now easy to use with a nice picture. The first collision in the parking lot at the gym in the dark with bad weather has already been recorded. Clearly showing the license plate and a lady in the image (fortunately this was properly reported at reception). 64 Gb card with the right performance (including Scandisk 10) did not work, it is not accepted. According to you it should be formatted in the camera but I cannot find that option. Otherwise very satisfied. Edit Allcam: Dear Peter, you can format the SD card in the system menu (press the 'M' button twice). At the bottom you should see the 'format' option if all is well.

    • I bought this camera last week, in terms of user-friendliness it leaves a bit to be desired, but well, I guess it will take some getting used to. One thing I haven't managed so far: I have GPS on, but when I play the video I see 0 km/h at the bottom of the screen... I actually expected to see my speed, does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong? Currently I use the Lerccenker app to connect to the camera, it works fine. Are there people with experience with other apps? Is it actually possible to see the route? I'll keep playing around.

    • Nice compact camera that does what it should. Nice wide angle, good image quality even in the dark! Easy to use and clear menu. However, on mine the battery is empty in 10 seconds, is that normal Allcam? Edit Allcam: Dear Marc, if the battery is empty in 10 seconds now, I recommend charging it for a while via a (phone) adapter on the mains without filming with the camera. The battery should last several minutes, but if you use it continuously to film the battery cannot fully charge.

    • First impression good. Nice camera and extensive accessories. A short and a long cable, cigarette lighter with double socket, user manual (English) and cable holders. During testing it turns out you really need a high speed micro SD card otherwise it constantly freezes (manageable). With a SanDisk Extreme microSDxc card it no longer freezes although I still can't use the camera's playback function. The manual is very small (hard to read) and not always clear and requires some testing and trying on the camera itself. (There is also an online version that is easy to read). The software for your phone (Android or Apple) to view your videos on your phone is only in Chinese :-( and I can't get it working by feel. The software to view your footage on the PC also doesn't work. Not on Windows 7 nor on Windows 8.x machines. Apple and Win10 not tested. I now view the footage via an SD adapter directly on my PC. Image quality is very good. Even in the dark it does not disappoint. Also enough options on the camera although I can't test everything (e.g. G-sensor that starts recording if you have a collision), playback function doesn't work, awkward operation, file protection works but only from the moment you turn on the option (lock icon). So not retroactively. If you use the option only after a "situation" and do nothing else, the unprotected file will be overwritten. Seeing the other reviews I hope I have a Monday model.
