Viofo A129 Pro 2CH Duo 4K Wifi GPS dashcam

This Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K GPS is the updated version of the A129 Duo, featuring stunning 4K resolution at the front and Full HD at the rear. In addition to its image quality, this Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K GPS is equipped with super-fast and stable Dual-Band Wifi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), comes with a GPS mount as standard, and can be operated using a Bluetooth SOS button.

Dual 4K + Full HD recording

As the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K GPS is equipped with two cameras, this dashcam can record both in front of and behind the car. The front dashcam records in 4K resolution at 3840 x 2160p 30fps and the rear one at 1080p Full HD 30fps. The rear camera is connected to the front camera via a long 6-metre cable supplied with the unit. The footage from the rear camera is stored separately on the SD card. On the 2.0-inch LCD screen, the rear camera is displayed in a quarter of the screen via PiP (Picture in Picture).

Dual-Band Wifi

The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K GPS is equipped with dual-band Wifi, ensuring very fast file transfer and a highly reliable network. Using the Viofo App, footage can be viewed and downloaded directly via wifi on any iOS or Android phone or tablet.

2x SONY Starvis sensor

The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K records with exceptional image quality. Thanks to the super-fast Novatek 96663 chip combined with the two SONY sensors, all details are clearly visible, even in the dark. When the rear camera is not connected, the A129 Pro Duo 4K records at 1080p 60fps.

Automatic parking mode

The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K is equipped with an automatic parking mode featuring motion detection or Time Lapse. In motion detection mode, the camera remains on standby and starts recording a 30-second clip when movement is detected. In Time Lapse mode, the camera continuously records a 1fps video which can later be played back (in fast-forward) as a 30fps video. This ensures that evidence is always available if the car is damaged whilst parked.

Please note: The automatic parking mode only works if the dashcam is used with the Continuous Power Supply for the Viofo A129 or the OP100 OBD-II Mini USB Power Supply (optional accessory). When connected, the camera will automatically switch to parking mode when the car’s ignition is switched off and revert to normal recording when the car is started.

Bluetooth SOS button (optional)

With the handy optional Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K Bluetooth SOS button, a manual SOS recording can be started on the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K at the touch of a button. The SOS button can be easily connected to the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K by switching on the dashcam and holding the button down for 3 seconds. The blue indicator LED on the button will light up blue once the connection has been successfully established. The SOS button can be mounted anywhere inside the vehicle using the adhesive pad supplied.

GPS module

The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K comes with a GPS module as standard. The GPS allows the current speed to be displayed on the screen. This can be crucial as evidence in the event of an incident. Furthermore, the GPS records the locations where footage was captured by the dashcam. The route travelled can therefore be viewed via the software on a PC.

The GPS is integrated into the mount that attaches to the windscreen. An additional GPS mount can be ordered as an option if the dashcam is used in multiple vehicles. The GPS mounts remain attached to the windscreen, allowing the camera to be easily swapped between vehicles.

2.0-inch LCD screen

This Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K dashcam features a 2.0-inch LCD screen. The screen displays live footage and allows for easy menu navigation. The built-in screensaver automatically switches off the LCD screen after a set number of minutes, if desired, so that it does not distract the driver.

130˚ + 140˚ wide-view lens

Thanks to the 130˚ + 140˚ wide-view ‘fish-eye’ lens, the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K has a wide field of view and captures almost everything in the surroundings.

1.6 aperture 7G lens

The 1.6 aperture and 7G lens capture a lot of light, ensuring excellent image quality both during the day and in the dark.

HDR

Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, the camera is capable of generating sharp images in both very high and very low light conditions. This means the camera captures razor-sharp images both during the day in bright light and at night in low light.

WDR

The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K is equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) hardware. This allows the dashcam to automatically adjust the light intensity depending on the environment. The WDR therefore guarantees the best image quality under varying conditions.

Auto start

The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K dashcam starts recording automatically when the car is started. So you no longer need to worry about it once it’s mounted in the car. However, this does require it to be connected to the car’s power supply.

G-sensor

Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K dashcam detects when you have been involved in an accident. Upon impact, footage is automatically secured so that it cannot be lost. It cannot be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.

AV output

Via the AV output, the dashcam’s footage can be displayed on an external monitor, such as the car’s built-in navigation system. An AV cable is required to transfer the footage.

Optional CPL filter

The optional CPL filter guarantees optimal protection and image quality in sunny conditions. The CPL filter acts for the dashcam like a pair of polarised sunglasses for the eyes. Harmful UV radiation is filtered out and annoying reflections are eliminated. This improves the image quality and durability of the camera.

Supercapacitor battery

The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K is equipped with a supercapacitor battery. This battery ensures that the camera can shut down correctly after a power failure. Supercapacitor batteries have been specially developed for use in dashcams because they are more durable than standard polymer Li-ion batteries and are also more resistant to high and low temperatures.

Built-in microphone

Thanks to the built-in microphone in this dashcam, sound inside and around the car is also recorded. The microphone can be switched off if desired.

256GB support

The Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K supports MicroSD cards up to 256GB. This is sufficient for around 48 hours of Full HD video (24 hours in 2CH).
