The Redtiger A8 is an advanced 4K dual dashcam designed for maximum safety and image quality. Thanks to its powerful image sensor, it delivers razor-sharp images, both during the day and in the dark. Wifi and GPS are built in for easy operation and accurate recording of speed and location. The dashcam comes standard with a 64GB Micro SD card, so you can start recording right away.
The Redtiger A8 is equipped with a high-quality 8.0MP image sensor that records Ultra 4K videos with a resolution of 3840x2160p. The high bitrate and advanced image processing ensure sharp details such as number plates and traffic signs. Thanks to HDR/WDR technology, images remain clearly visible in both bright sunlight and dark conditions.
The Redtiger A8 comes as a dual dashcam set:
The rear camera is placed on the rear window and connected to the front camera with a long cable. This way, everything in front of and behind the car is recorded.
The dashcam has a clear 3.0-inch LCD screen that makes it easy to watch live, review footage and adjust settings. The buttons can be used to start or stop recording, open the menu or take a photo. The menu interface is clear and user-friendly.
Thanks to the built-in Wifi, images can be viewed and downloaded wirelessly via the Redtiger app. The app is available for iOS (Apple) and Android smartphones and tablets. This means that the SD card no longer needs to be removed from the camera.
The Redtiger A8 has a built-in GPS module. This automatically adds both the speed driven and the exact location to the video. With the accompanying software, you can later see exactly where and when certain recordings were made.
The front camera has a 170° wide-angle lens and the rear camera has a wide viewing angle of approximately 140°. This allows a large area around the car to be captured.
The Redtiger A8 has an automatic parking mode for surveillance when the car is parked. The camera automatically starts recording when it detects movement or vibration.
Please note: For long-term use of parking mode, an optional hardwire kit is required.
Thanks to loop recording, the dashcam continues to record continuously. When the SD card is full, the oldest unprotected files are automatically overwritten. The length of the clips is adjustable.
The Redtiger A8 comes standard with a 64GB Micro SD card. This allows you to store several hours of 4K + Full HD video. The dashcam also supports larger Micro SD cards.
Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam automatically detects a collision or hard impact. The corresponding images are stored securely and cannot be overwritten.
The dashcam automatically starts recording when the car is started. When using a hardwire kit, the camera automatically switches between driving mode and parking mode.
The Redtiger A8 has a built-in microphone for sound recording. This can be easily switched on or off via the menu.
The date, time and speed can be displayed on each video. This makes the images suitable as evidence for the police and insurance companies.
