This Mio MiVue J20 dashcam is one of the most compact dashcams on the market. It fits perfectly behind any rear-view mirror and is therefore barely noticeable from the outside or while driving. It is equipped with Wifi for easy operation with your phone, and the built-in G-sensor records collisions. The perfect security for all your daily journeys.
Perhaps the best thing about this Mio MiVue J20 is its size. At 36 x 37 x 32 mm, it fits easily in the palm of your hand. You can place it behind your rear-view mirror in one go and forget about it. It is inconspicuous while driving and from the outside.
The Mio MiVue J20 is perfectly suited to be placed upside down on your car's dashboard. The image can be flipped via the app so that the videos are recorded normally.
Mio offers a standard three-year manufacturer's warranty on its dashcams. If you encounter any problems or defects, Mio is there to help you. So you can hit the road without any worries.
The Mio MiVue J20 films in high-quality Full HD (1080p) videos at 30fps. The images are of good quality both during the day and at night, so that people and cars are clearly visible.
You can easily view the recorded videos on your smartphone within range of the dashcam (+/- 5 metres) via the Mio App for iOS or Android. The videos can be viewed live and you can download saved videos to your phone so you can share them immediately. The menu is also easy to operate via the App, allowing you to change settings very quickly.
Mio supports speed camera and average speed check alerts in some regions. The data is automatically updated via the app so that you are always notified in the right places.
With a modest viewing angle of 120 degrees, a reasonably large area around the car is recorded without the image being too distorted at the edges.
Use the optional universal CPL filter to filter out annoying and harmful reflections from the image. Sometimes reflections from the dashboard are visible in the recorded videos, and a CPL filter can help to improve the quality.
The Mio MiVue J20 has a built-in G-sensor. This sensor registers vibrations in the event of a collision. In that case, the current video is stored securely.
The dashcam is equipped with loop recording, which means that the oldest images are automatically overwritten by new ones. The videos are stored in shorter 5-minute clips, and once the SD card is full, the oldest clip is deleted.
Secure recordings (manually selected or detected by the G-sensor) are stored in a separate folder and are not deleted by the loop recording. This way, you always have access to the latest and most important videos.
The Mio MiVue J20 supports Micro SD cards up to 128GB, good for about 15 hours of recording. A Micro SD card is not included as standard.
