AZDome S58 4G 3CH 4K Wifi GPS dashcam

The AZDome S58 is AZDome’s first 4G dashcam. The 4G connection allows you to connect to the dashcam from anywhere in the world and receive live alerts, for example in the event of parking incidents. The S58’s practical design also ensures that a large area in and around the car is captured.

4G connection

The AZDome S58 4G is an advanced dashcam that keeps you connected to your vehicle anytime, anywhere. Thanks to the included SIM card, you can connect to the dashcam worldwide via the 4G network. This allows you to view live video footage, change settings remotely and receive instant notifications when something happens to your car, for example in the event of a collision or vandalism.

Please note: the AZDome S58 comes with an AZDome SIM card as standard. To use the SIM card, you must take out a monthly 3GB data subscription via AZDome. The cost of this subscription is €10 per month.

With the AZDome S58, it is not possible to use your own SIM card or data subscription.

Third interior camera

The built-in interior camera captures an even larger area inside and around the car. The interior camera clicks into place on the side of the front camera and can be positioned in the correct direction. It films the car’s interior and, as a result, a large portion of the exterior. The additional interior camera is therefore also ideal as extra security for parking mode.

2K + 2x Full HD resolution

The S58 4G is equipped with the latest 8.0MP image sensor, which guarantees the sharpest videos. It films at a resolution of 2K at the front and Full HD at the rear and inside. HDR technology ensures perfect image quality in all weather conditions. The dashcam can also take photos at 18MP. Without the rear camera connected, it even records in 4K + Full HD.

4.0-inch widescreen LCD

Another unique feature of this S58 4G is the bright and large 4.0-inch LCD. The screen displays what the camera is recording, and with a single press of a button, you can access the menu or take a photo. You can also start and stop recording or switch the microphone on or off. The menu interface is very user-friendly, making changing settings a piece of cake.

Wifi

The AZDome S58 4G is equipped with wifi, allowing all footage to be easily viewed via a smartphone. The wifi has a range of around 10 metres. The AZDome App is available for iOS (Apple) and Android phones and tablets. The app allows footage to be viewed and downloaded, so there is no longer any need to remove the SD card from the camera.

Built-in GPS

The S58 4G has a built-in GPS module. This GPS module allows the speed to be displayed on screen and also tracks the coordinates of the locations where footage was recorded. This means that, using the included software, you can later see exactly where specific recordings were made.

CPL filter option

To improve image quality and reduce reflections in the footage, you can upgrade the dashcam with the optional universal CPL filter (see accessories). This filter acts as a sort of Polaroid sunglasses for the lens and can be useful in sunny conditions.

Automatic parking mode

The AZDome S58 4G dashcam features a handy automatic parking mode. The parking mode offers two options:

Time lapse: The camera films continuously in time-lapse mode at 720p 1fps, including with the rear camera if fitted.

Vibration: The camera records a 1-minute video when a vibration is detected.

Includes a hardwire kit

The AZDome S58 comes as standard with a hardwire kit to connect to the car’s fuse box. This hardwire kit regulates the power to the car camera when the car is parked. An optional Plug&Play OBD power supply is available, which can be plugged into the car’s OBD port. The parking mode on the dashcam is only available when the camera is connected to one of these two power supplies.

Loop recording

The S58 4G is equipped with loop recording. This means that the camera continues to record even when the SD card is full. The oldest clips on the SD card are then deleted and automatically overwritten by new footage. The length of the clips can be set to 3, 5 or 10 minutes. Loop recording can also be disabled; in this case, the camera makes a single long recording. Please note that the camera will stop recording if the SD card is full.

HDR

Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, the camera is capable of producing sharp images in both very high and very low light conditions. This allows the camera to capture razor-sharp images both during the day in bright light and at night in low light.

170˚ + 140˚ + 140˚ wide-angle lens

This AZDome S58 4G features a 170˚ wide-angle lens at the front and 140˚ lenses at the rear and inside. This allows a very large area around the car to be monitored.

256GB support

The AZDome S58 supports Micro SD cards up to 256GB (not included). With 256GB, you can store up to 54 hours (over 2 days) of Full HD video. At a higher resolution, the total recording time will be slightly shorter.

Auto start

The AZDome S58 dashcam starts recording automatically when the car is started. So you no longer need to worry about it once it’s mounted in the car. This does, however, require it to be connected to the car’s power supply via the cigarette lighter socket. If you use the optional hardwire kit, the camera will automatically switch between parking mode and recording mode.

G-sensor

Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam detects when you’ve been in an accident. Upon impact, footage is automatically secured so it cannot be lost. It cannot be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.

Built-in microphone

The AZDome S58 4G has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can be easily switched on and off with a single tap on the screen.

Date/Time/Number Plate Watermark

The date, time and number plate can be displayed at the bottom of each video so that it can later be demonstrated when and with which vehicle certain recordings were made. This can be of decisive importance when assessing situations and determining liability for the police and/or insurance companies.
