AZDome M550 Max 3CH 4K Wifi GPS 64gb dashcam

The AZDome M550 Max 3CH 4K is a very comprehensive and professional dashcam with three cameras. The front and rear cameras keep an eye on the road, while the interior camera films the driver and passengers. This makes the AZDome M550 Max ideally suited for taxis and driving schools. The M550 Max also records in the sharpest 4K resolution and is equipped with wifi and GPS.

Ultra 4K resolution

The M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb is equipped with the latest 8.0MP image sensor, which guarantees the sharpest Ultra 4K videos. It films at a resolution of 3840p*2160p at 25fps, but you can also have it record in FullHD at 60fps. HDR technology guarantees perfect image quality in all weather conditions. You can also take 18-megapixel photos with the dashcam.

The included rear camera has a FullHD (1080p) image sensor, so everything that happens behind the car is also recorded in the best quality. Number plates and people are always recognisable, even in the dark. The interior camera also films in FullHD 1080p resolution. When both cameras are used, the M550 Max films in QuadHD 1440p + 2x FullHD 1080p.

3.0-inch widescreen LCD screen

Another unique feature of this M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb is the bright, large 3.0-inch widescreen LCD screen. The screen shows what the camera is recording, and at the touch of a button you can open the menu or take a photo. You can also start and stop recording or switch the microphone on or off. The menu interface is very user-friendly, which makes changing settings a piece of cake.

FullHD rear camera

This M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb comes as standard with a FullHD rear camera that can be mounted on the inside of the rear window. The rear camera is connected to the front camera with the included 6-metre cable (10-metre extension cable available as an option, see accessories). The cameras record simultaneously and the footage is stored separately on the SD card. The rear camera image is shown on the LCD screen via PiP (Picture in Picture), and at the touch of a button it can also be displayed full screen.

Wifi

The M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb is equipped with wifi, so you can easily view all footage on your smartphone. The wifi has a range of about 10 metres. The AZDome App is available for iOS (Apple) and Android phones and tablets. Via the app you can view and download footage, so you no longer need to remove the SD card from the camera.

Built-in GPS

The M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb has a built-in GPS module. Thanks to the GPS, your speed can be shown on screen and the coordinates of the places where you filmed are recorded. With the included software you can later see exactly where certain recordings were made.

CPL filter option

To improve image quality and reduce reflections, you can add the optional universal CPL filter to the dashcam (see accessories). This filter works like a pair of polarised sunglasses for the lens and can be useful in sunny conditions.

Sturdy mount

The M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb has a sturdy adhesive mount that keeps the dashcam firmly in place and keeps unnecessary vibrations out of the footage. The mount is attached to the windscreen with a 3M sticker and the dashcam clicks into the mount. The lens can be rotated in all directions, so it can always be set to the right position. The camera comes with several 3M adhesive stickers and removable static pads. By placing these on the windscreen before the mount, you can remove the entire mount from the windscreen without leaving marks.

Automatic parking mode

The M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb has a handy automatic parking mode with the following options:

Time lapse: The camera films continuously in time lapse at 720p 1fps, including any rear camera.
Vibration: The camera records a 1-minute video when a vibration is detected.

*The automatic parking mode of the M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb only works in combination with the optional AZDome JYX05 or OBD hardwire kit and cannot be switched on and off manually. With the hardwire kit, the camera automatically switches to parking mode when you turn off the ignition and resumes normal recording when you start the car again.

Loop recording

The M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb is equipped with loop recording. This means the camera simply keeps filming when the SD card is full: the oldest clips are deleted and automatically overwritten with new footage. You can set the clip length to 3, 5 or 10 minutes. Loop recording can also be switched off, in which case the camera makes one long recording. Note that the camera then stops filming when the SD card is full.

64gb Micro SD card included

The AZDome M550 Max 3CH 4K comes as standard with a 64gb Micro SD card, so you can start recording straight away. The AZDome M550 Max also supports larger Micro SD cards up to 256gb. The included 64gb card holds about 10 hours of 3CH video in 4K.

HDR

Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, the camera can produce sharp footage in both very bright and very low light. As a result, it records razor-sharp footage both during the day in bright light and at night in low light.

170˚ + 140˚ + 140˚ wide-angle lens

This M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb has a 170˚ wide-angle lens at the front and 140˚ at the rear and inside. This covers a very large area.

Auto start

The AZDome M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb dashcam automatically starts filming when the car is started, so once it is installed you don't have to think about it. The condition is that it is connected to the car's power supply with the cigarette lighter charger. If you use the optional hardwire kit, the camera automatically switches in and out of parking mode.

G-sensor

Thanks to the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam notices when you have had an accident. On impact, footage is automatically saved and protected so it cannot be lost. It can no longer be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.

Built-in microphone

The AZDome M550 Max 3CH 4K 64gb has a built-in microphone, so sound is recorded too. The microphone can easily be switched on and off with a single tap on the screen.

Date/time/number plate watermark

The date, time and number plate can be shown at the bottom of every video, so you can later prove when and with which vehicle certain recordings were made. This can be decisive when police and/or insurers assess situations and determine liability.

Handy USB cigarette lighter charger

This AZDome dashcam comes with a handy 3-metre USB cigarette lighter charger with an extra USB port. The other USB port can be used to charge other devices, such as your phone.
