The updated Viofo HK6 3-wire hardwire kit is an advanced power supply for using the parking mode of your Viofo dashcam. This HK6 consists of separate compartments, which makes installation a lot easier. It is equipped with Bluetooth, which allows the voltage to be displayed in the videos. In addition, this Viofo HK6, in combination with the Viofo A329S, supports a hybrid energy-efficient parking mode in which the dashcam consumes hardly any power. Ideal when your car is parked for a long period of time.
3-wire
This HK6 hardwire kit can be connected to three points in the car's fuse box. The red wire is connected to a continuous fuse (which also supplies power when the ignition is off), the yellow wire to a switched fuse (which turns on and off with the ignition) and the black wire to the earth.
The power supply has a built-in module with a switch that ensures that the car's battery does not run flat due to filming with the dashcam. The switch can be set to 11.8V/23.6V, 12.0V/24.0V, 12.2V/24.4V or 12.4V/24.8V. The power is interrupted when the battery voltage falls below the set threshold.
