With the Nextbase 5-metre hardwire kit for the Piqo series dashcams, you can connect your Nextbase dashcam directly to the car's fuse box to reliably use the parking mode on your camera.
Connect the power supply to a fuse that provides permanent power and your Nextbase dashcam will automatically switch to parking mode after 5 minutes of inactivity. You can also connect the power supply to a switched fuse, in which case the dashcam will turn on and off with the car's ignition.
The power supply has a safety feature that cuts off the power when the battery voltage becomes too low. So you don't have to worry about running out of battery power.
