This Kenwood CA-DR1130 hardwire kit USB-C 3-wire is a special connection set for your Kenwood dashcam. The power supply is required when you want to use the parking mode on your Kenwood dashcam. The power supply is connected to the car's fuse box and regulates the power supply to the dashcam when the car is parked. It has built-in protection that cuts off the power if your battery voltage gets too low, so you won't end up with a flat battery.
Battery protection
The power supply has a built-in mechanism that ensures your car battery does not run out of power when the dashcam is filming. The power is cut off at a voltage of 12V or lower.
Because this Kenwood power supply is connected to two different power points, the dashcam detects when the car's ignition is turned on and off. It automatically goes into parking mode when the car's ignition is turned off and resumes regular recording when the car is started.

Connecting the power supply is made even easier by the inclusion of four types of Add-a-fuse plugs. This way, you only need to replace the fuse with one of these plugs. This is much safer than having to connect wires to an existing fuse.
