It comes with a SIM card for which you have to pay a subscription and activate it via the BlackVue app. You can also buy a prepaid SIM card from AT&T or T-Mobile with a subscription online or in a store. I personally use the dual network SIM card from eiotclub.com (uses both the AT&T and T-Mobile networks) and have the 24 GB subscription for 360 days. But there are many subscriptions to choose from.

I bought this to provide LTE capabilities to my BlackVue DR900X-Plus 2CH. Although the listing says CM100 LTE, I actually received a CM100G LTE, which still worked with my camera. I inserted a T-Mobile SIM card with a hotspot data-only subscription, connected the module to the USB port of my camera, went through the installation in the BlackVue app, and it worked without issues. Now my BlackVue DR900X-Plus is always connected to the cloud and serves as a hotspot for all devices in my car that need a mobile connection. I recently spent the whole day shopping and the LTE connection never dropped or was disturbed. It's more than worth the money!

It works great once you figure out how to link the SIM card to the BlackVue. I use the included wifi to get wifi for my SUV's apps, so I don't have to pay for two SIM cards.

Great addition to the Blackvue dashcams with wifi. It lets you stay connected to your dashcam without having to ask your friends or family for their wifi password when you park. Pretty easy to use and straightforward device. That said, I'm surprised they couldn't make it smaller and slimmer. It doesn't look bad in the corner of your windshield, but if you have a dashcam, fast track unit and this, it would be ideal if it was less conspicuous. No other complaints.
